Connect apps to specialists - marno.ai

Connected apps let a specialist read or act in services such as GitHub, Gmail, or Slack. Marno has no apps of its own. It asks the right specialist when a customer question needs one. Connected apps are available on Premium and Business plans.

Add an app

Open Agents and select a specialist.
Open Tools and select Connect a tool.
Search for the app, select it, then choose Done.
Select Connect account on the app card.
Complete the provider sign-in or enter the requested credentials.

The app stays selected if its account is not connected, but the specialist cannot use it until an admin finishes the connection.

Connection scope

An app account belongs to the workspace. Several specialists can use the same connected account. Removing an app from one specialist only removes that specialist’s access. Disconnecting the account stops every specialist in the workspace from using it.

Test the app

Ask a Sandbox question that requires the specialist and app. Check the answer, the specialist provenance, and the live result. Then ask an unrelated question to confirm Marno does not call it unnecessarily.

Use a narrowly scoped service account when the provider supports one. Do not paste credentials into knowledge, tickets, or agent instructions.
