# Configure an agent

> Set an agent's job, knowledge, tools, and availability.

Select an agent from **Agents**.

## About

A custom specialist has an editable name, job, extra instructions, and color. Marno and built-in specialists keep their product identity.

## Knowledge

Every agent has its own **Knowledge** tab. Add, enable, prioritize, refresh, edit, or remove sources for that agent. Other agents can reach those sources only by asking the agent that owns them.

Some built-in specialists ship with managed knowledge. Remove the specialist to remove a managed source.

## Tools

Specialists have a **Tools** tab for connected apps. Add an app, connect the workspace account, and review which specialists use it. Marno has no Tools tab. It asks specialists to use their apps.

## Availability and activity

Set a specialist to **Live** when Marno may consult it. Set it to **Paused** to keep its setup without making it available.

**Activity** shows recent customer answers and consultations. Deleting a specialist removes it from the roster. Marno cannot be deleted.
